Simulation is a more relevant and memorable training technique

Simulation-based training is the most appropriate and enjoyable means of training Operational Excellence in Financial Services businesses. Venturehaus’ simulation- based Operational Excellence training has been designed to provide comprehensive yet relevant instruction in the most appropriate tools and techniques used in Business Process Improvement in Financial Services businesses. The Transaction Processing role-play Simulation can be customised to reflect the client organisation’s industry business processes.

Venturehaus training is usually based around an interactive Business Process Simulation, emulating a typical service industry project, and providing a single relevant case study for all of the tools taught throughout the core programme. At all stages of the Methodology, the curriculum contains challenging and realistic exercises, which are linked directly to the Simulation.

Whilst many of the Organisational and Process issues inherent in the Business Simulation are exaggerated, they are derived from real issues prevalent in typical services and transaction processing operations. The role-play Simulation helps students to learn, understand and apply the concepts and tools of Operational Excellence Process Improvement within a familiar and relevant context.

It helps students relate Operational Excellence Methods & Tools directly to their own business

Students are allocated roles at the start of the Training course and conduct several rounds of the Simulation, in between classroom instruction on the Operational Excellence methods and tools. They apply the methods and tools learned to interact with Customers, understand the Business Process and improve the Process Capability and Performance within the Simulation in line with Customer Specifications.

In addition to customisation of the training curriculum and materials, Venturehaus also offers the ability to develop bespoke role-play Business Process Simulations for clients. Whilst the underlying mechanics of the Simulation remain very similar, the business, units and process can be customised to represent a typical transactional process within a client company’s industry sector.
